Norfolk Island is a jewel of the South Pacific where you can happily lose yourself for seven incredible days. Breathe the fresh air, soak in the stunning scenery, or enjoy one of the many tours and activities on offer. You may even hear and listen to descendants of the Bounty mutineers speak their own language - a delightful and rare combination of Old English and Tahitian. Norfolk offers everything you would expect from a subtropical island with a few added surprises...

Day 1
A half day Orientation Tour is the perfect way to acquaint yourself with Norfolk Island. At eight by five kilometers, the island is the perfect sized resort and the tour will highlight all of the activities and places to fill your stay.

The afternoon can be spent exploring the world heritage nominated precinct of Kingston and Arthur’s Vale with its extraordinary range of buildings and museums highlighting the island’s unique history. See the Norfolk Island Museum, No 10. Quality Row, and the Royal Engineers Office and Guard House.

Start the morning at one of the 35 quality restaurants and eateries scattered across the Island, ranging from ala carte to casual dining. Taste dishes unique to Norfolk Island such as Pilihai (baked ripe banana), or Mudda (boiled green banana)or delicious island dessert pies.
Explore the island on horseback or take it all in from the comfort of a horse drawn carriage. Tour operators cater for experienced riders and beginners and some tours include billy tea and damper. Otherwise opt for popular tours such as the Carousel Horse and Carriage Tour.

The Island offers a host of great water activities and with a minimum water temperature of 18 degrees in winter you can enjoy them all year round. Norfolk Island is an underwater wonderland offering over 30 world class diving sites and snorkeling opportunities. Serene Emily Bay is a safe swimming beach and is great place to hire a canoe or paddleboard. Or bring your board and surf beyond the reef breaks.

There is a mini golf course for children and novices. Once you have tried the golf club, choose from more than 30 additional clubs on the Island. These include: archery, ballroom dancing, bowling, tennis. Squash, or clay target shooting.
